I’m an intelligently confused and simply complex young lady wandering around creating stories and asking questions. I prefer to go 90 miles a minute, and when I’m not busy I find myself bored out of my mind. I love writing, social events, exploring the outdoors, random adventures, and new experiences. I’d really love to learn more about photography, traveling the world, and what happened to dunk-a-roo’s. I adore the emotional capacity movies and music contain and believe that happiness is always within reach. Life is too short not to enjoy while we’re here! Freedom and laughter are key.

De-evolving from grammar?

In light of my humility, I have decided to shed some light on our generation and writing. I can’t be the only one who’s noticed; we kind of suck at it. Now I’m not talking about creativity or intellect here, I’m talking about structure and grammar. As a journalism student at UT, I have failed [...]

Technology, Lifestyle, Relationships.

We are a generation of fakers. We fake tan, have fake nails, fake hair, fake eyelashes, fake opinions, fake friends, fake boobs, fake boyfriends, fake our age, get plastic surgery at 18, hell, even pretend to have fake boyfriends. We mix and match our swim suits, our outfits, and our wardrobes as a whole depending [...]

All Sex is not Experienced Equally

We have sex therapists, sex toys, sexual chemistry, sex classes, sexual desires, sex shops, sex ed, and in some places, even sex for money. They say the average man thinks about sex around 78% of everyday. Sex can bring people together, it can tear people apart. Hell, it can create life, and even kill you. [...]

Travel the World, Earn School Credit!

College is a time for exploration, learning, finding ourselves, and expanding our horizons further than whatever we may have been programmed to know in whatever little bubble each of us have come from. It is also a time to take chances. It’s the time to take some classes in what we actually want to learn [...]

The GDI Movement is LAME

As we all know, “going Greek” has its ups and downs. There’s the reputation, the parties, the community service, and the having multiple friends a phone call away, but still, many question whether it’s really necessary to pay for all of that. I mean there’s also the hazing, the judgement, the conformity, and the having [...]

Boating 101

Hot days are creeping in, the stress of finals is beginning to wane, bikinis are busting out left and right, and everyone is starting to get stoked on this new freedom we only find at end of a semester. Now, despite the couple of rando chilly days,  I’m still going to have to say: boat [...]

FRATography!

Seriously, who goes to frat parties? Oh yea, everyone. The houses, music, free booze, normally a girl crying outside, themes, formals, tons of college students ready to rage, mixers, the set ups,  the drunk guy who refuses to get off the roof, whatever the case at hand, I believe it’s safe to say the Greeks [...]

Happiness and the Right Major

Picking your major can be a major b*$%#. If you’re anything like me, it was extremely stressful because if feels as though you are deciding what to do with the rest of your life. Sounds extreme, but this is probably one of the biggest myths college has to offer. Picking your major is NOT the [...]

I am Woman, Hear Me Roar!

Women are better than men. This we know. They have the children. Yes, I know there needs to be sperm involved but hey, technology has given us an out for that one, and, they can even feed that child with their own bodies, pretty amazing stuff. Not that I, personally, would want to live in [...]

FREE Runway Fashion Show!

Sometimes when I sit at home watching copious amounts of Sex and the City, I envy Carrie, Sam, Charlotte, and Miranda for their fabulous lifestyles. They attend art gallery, restaurant, and club openings, all sorts of launch parties, business and charity events, and of course, the fashion shows! Well, if you’ve ever tried to pretend [...]
