This makes me feel like such a noob, and I’ve lived in Austin for 21 years. I guess since I’m now of age, I’m learning about all the fun things I can [legally] do now! Like FREE WEEK, the week for free music in Austin. Think of it as a mini SXSW for all your favorite local bands at all the hips venues. Main participants include Red7, Beauty Bar, North Door, and the Mohawk- who is giving out FREE MILKSHAKES AT MIDNIGHT each night, courtesy of Handshakes. They had me at free. And then milkshake sealed the deal.
