Before you can even blink an eye another year has come and gone. For many of you out there, I hope 2010 was a year where you learned new things about yourself, people around you and established a new friendship or two.

Since I have not been up-to-date with my blogs I thought I would share how my new years eve was.

NYE took place in Nassau, Bahamas with beautiful weather, luscious scenery and the wonderful relaxation of vacation. My family and I started off the night with a delicious dinner before my sister, Rijon, and I went to celebrate our new years at the Atlantis Hotel.

The Atlantis Hotel’s nightclub, Aura was hosting a world renowned DJ from Australia AKA DJ Sky Nellor. We arrived at the club expecting there to be a massive line outside the door and with no surprise, there was. Out of nowhere the security guard pulled my sister and I aside and said “you two ladies go through the VIP section”, of course we did not complain and went right through.

The club was packed. Professional dancers were placed on two huge blocks in the middle of the dance floor. Different sections were blocked off for people to decide upon which experience they wanted to encounter on new years: private, separate booth or a table on the dance floor.  The lights, music and scene were the ultimate three essentials to a remarkable new year and at Aura nightclub all three essentials were terrific!

For my sister and I, 2011 started off with a bang! Unfortunately having to end the night with an 8am flight back home to reality. I guess vacation does have to come to an end at sometime. I better start counting down the days till I can experience another memorable vacation.
