“Get High and Get High Scores.” -How High
Ok so that wasn’t my exact logic in going to college, but I gotta say my motivation for continuing my education was less education and more entertainment life value. Yep that is right TV and Movies molded my image of how great the college would be. So here are some of my favorite College-eqs Movies and TV shows.
Yes I know the college movie list has been done b4…But fuck those list their list not my list.
MOVIES:
#1 School Daze: As a Black Male this movie is revolutionary to say the most (HBCU college life & it was a Musical of sorts) Leave to Spike Lee to entertain, inspire and make you socially aware (Also my mom said this was the 1st movie she took me to see in theaters lol)
#2 Revenge of the Nerds: I mean for the longest I wanted to be part of Lamda Lamda Lamda. I mean if U didn’t go sit on a pledge paddle. Now even though I consider myself #Geek more than a #Nerd we still share a common goal, Do what we like and get busy with fine sorority women. And that techno thing at the end in the talent show LIVE FTW.
#3 How High: You can smoke & be a college student…NOoooo???? Fuck Yeah! Man this still one of my favorite fuckin movies, I was going into High School when it came out and I couldnt wait to apply to Havard…(Fail) lol. But still lesson to live by :When school gets hard, Smoke Something and Focus. (Here is the video/theme to the movie) 
#4 Van Wilder: Well this is just the idea of college. PARTY PARTY PARTY lets all get wasted. And Somebody on campus throws the best parties where all the hottest coeds go. And its usually a old mofo. But still great movie, still sad I don’t have a golf cart or a personal assistant on campus. FUCK.
#5,6,7 & 8: Think of these as honorable mentions you should just watch just for college or college-eqs essence- #5 WaterBoy -#6 Accepted- #7 American Pie 2- #8 Animal House (duh)

Ok Seriously 3 shows come to mind instantly
#1 A Different World -Who doesn’t wanna see where the Cosby Kids go to college? A lil before mine and if ur reading this ur time, but a great show. 
#2 MTV Undressed- When I try to talk to people about it they act like they don’t know. I guess I was the only person who snuffed his bedtime to watch late night college drama on MTV. I mean coed dorms? Girls walking around scantily clad, folks hookin up ALOT. Man I loved that show. (It ran for 6 season? how’d you miss that? LAME[cartman voice])
#3 REAL WORLD- Ok so I know it wasn’t exactly college life but Damn was it not close? Hell sure as hell made me want to grow up and get the stage of life where I was out of my parents place and stayin with 6 strange persons lol.
#4 & #5 : Shows u need to watch or go back and watch- #4 Boy Meets World(The college years) #5 The Community (On NBC, AWESOMENESS)
