The Texas State Fair is mostly known for their creative deep fried foods, but looks like Iowa State booted out Texas “deep fried S’Mores Pop-Tart” out of the competition. Did Iowa hire Paula Deen to whip up some of her butter recipes for the fair? Apparently they did, deep fried BUTTER has now made it on the menu of heart-attack items at the Iowa State Fair.

Iowa can keep their butter on a stick, Texas actually cares about their obesity problem! (Well… maybe just a tad more.)
